Ina Garten is well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina Garten began her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget documents. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual rigors of the job, but eventually, she lost the interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. Her store was extremely successful over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. Many different cookbooks and magazines were later published. The Food Network TV show also was launched, and was a huge success. She also sells a range of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina, who is self-taught she has never attended a culinary school or in the hotel. Her name is known for her effortless style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation. Her most popular recipes include Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
