David Muir was born in the United States and is an American journalist. The ABC News program World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a popular for a number of years. Alongside that the show, he is also a co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. Seen by millions of Americans David Muir's program is famous for its gossip videos featuring celebrities and animated gestures. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is another of his many accomplishments. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He covered a number of morning ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. The journeys he has taken him on have taken him to all places on earth including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and many more. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honors and awards from the Associated Press.
