David-Muir

David Muir is an American anchor and journalist popular for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he serves as a co-anchor. The show, with its intense clips of celebrity gossip on video and his animated gestures has been voted the top broadcast in America. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. He was his predecessor Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor before he took over ABC World News Tonight. Since then the anchor has been on numerous ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's been to a variety of countries around the globe covering the news. The locations include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He was the winner of numerous Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and Awards from the Associated Press.
